Out real early this morning, off to Jupiter to get new rubber for the back wheel and a routine fluids change. I’ve got a good 'wrench' and he doesn’t charge me 'an arm and a leg'. But he always argue’s about the size tire I want to run on the rear. I run a 140 (Sportsters usually run a 130), but I like the larger tire, so as usual after telling me a 140 won’t fit, he goes ahead and puts it on and then takes it for a test spin. It works fine and gives me a lot more support for the extra weight of riding two up with luggage. Out to lunch at Wendy’s (got to get back on my diet), stop at Publix for laundry soap, and a stop at the bank for money and then back to the house to wash clothes and get ready to move on down to West Palm Beach for the 'Chili Cook-off' and to take care of some other business. Total of only 22 miles today, 6,722 this trip, 128,382 total miles.
