Miami, Florida
4 Stars  This place was Great
After arriving at the airport at 5:30pm we stayed overnight at the Miami Hilton. In the morning, after a late breakfast, we lined up for our bus to the cruise terminals. At 1:00 we entered the welcome area for the SS Norway. We stayed on the Norway deck, cabin N067. Our cabin has two single beds, with a table in the middle, two portholes for windows, a big closet, makup table, fridge and bathroom with a shower. Our luggage has not arrived yet so we toured the ship. After we toured the ship we went back to our cabin to unpack taking our time(not knowing that the ship had departed from the Port of Miami) Back on top deck we watch the ship travel down the channel (The water was pretty gross here) At 4:00pm we had to go and get ready for our compulsory fire drill.

Our supper sitting is at 6:00pm (main seating) in the Leeward Dining Room. Our waiter was Mario Sarmiento (introduced himself as Super Mario) and our wine stewart was Normita Querubin(Mario introduced her as Luigi). The meal was good, Mario was funny, a great table.

After dinner we went to the North Cape Lounge, on the Pool Deck, to see the comedian, Hank McGauley, he was hilarious. Afterwards we checked out the Checkers Loungs, and were in bed by midnight.

Private Notes Teri saw a heart throb at our compulsory fire drill, never to be seen again.

Our table companions were Graham and Joanne Barnard of Calgary, and Linda Baer of Edmonton and Peter Seward from Westlock.
