We arrived on Orlando at the midnight of July 1, the Canada Day Saturday. The first thing we did was to rent a full size car from National Car Rental. We had got a really good deal with the contract code found at fatwallet.com. My girlfriend said we should rent a convertible, but later on it approved that she was wrong. The weather of Florida is really hot in this season.First Night (July 1) – Quality Inn Airport
I would likely recommend this hotel. It’s clean and convenient.
Second Day (July 2)
We drove from Orlando to Clear Water, Tempa. This place is nice, but somehow looks like Miami Beach. I think we should spend more time on it, because you can find the rating No.1 and No.4 beaches of USA from this place.
We left for Miami after lunch.
When we arrived at Miami Beach, it’s a little bit late. But lucky, we found our second night hotel (Miami Beach Resort & Spa) easily. Check in process is fast, but not so many choices left for us, we picked up a suite which closed to the elevator. After a quick shower at room, we went to South Beach for dinner. The South Beach make you feel like Hawaii. There is a long street with a lot of shopping and dinning area.
The Hotel is terrible!!!!! We could hear the elevator up and down the whole night. I even found a pin from the bed cover; the bath towel smells like someone peed on it.
Third Day (July 3)
This day was planned for Key West. We left the hotel at 11AM, and then drove directly toward Key West. Someone said its shame to plan for a day trip to Key West. I totally agree with him/her. There are so many things to do in Key West, such as fishing, swimming, going out to the ocean by a rental boat, sunset dinning, riding a scooter….. I definitely will plan another trip to Key West next time.
Islamarada fish market is nice. We had a wonderful sunset dinner over there.
Fourth Day (July 4)
We went to Disney. Actually, I don’t like it, it’s built for the kids, but the fire work was rally amazing.
Fifth Day (July 5)
Back to Los Angeles.
