icon Clearwater, Florida - The Original Hooter's

The Original Hooter's
4 Stars This place was Great
With waitress
We decided since we were in the area, we would see the original Hooter's in Clearwater, FL. Taking the I-275 and accompanying roads through Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersberg was gorgeous drive at sunset even with the rain. We finally arrived at the restaurant. The most striking difference from other Hooters is that the waitresses wear black instead of orange and white. The wings were as good as always. I still haven't tried Daytona wings (they're supposed to be healthier). I figured tehy'd have them in Florida and especially at the landmark first Hooters, but for the second night in a row, I was dissappointed. Also, for the second night in a row our waitress was named Megan. They also didn't have the icecream owl.

We left the Hoot to continue on to Naples where we would spend the night with proximity to the Everglades.

It had rained and thundered all day off and on. The sky on the way to Naples was like a light show with hundreds of lightning strikes lighting the sky.
