The area has got some great houses along canals emptying into the bay...but the power plant, also along a canal emptying into the bay, is a huge (literally) eyesore. However, the heat it generates draws manatees to the area so it's a good place to make a sighting. There's a viewing area right next to the power plant, in fact.
