Washington, D.C.
4 Stars  This place was Great
Well, the Air and Space museum annex, which is out near Dulles Airport, was built since I left the Maryland area five or so years ago. I finally got see it and I loved it. You will maximize your enjoyment if you get on one of the tours and let the guide tell you all the neat stories about the aircraft, the pilots who have visited to see the aircraft they once flew, and WWII vets who have visited the museum. Its a must see.

The Spy Museum sucked. It wasn't worth the $14 bucks you pay to get in. Save your money and go visit the free museums on the mall.

The White House tour has certainly changed since the last time I visited. It's amazing how much of the streets are now blocked off. As for the fact that it is now 'self-guided', that sucks. Now you have to depend on secret service agents to tell you about the rooms.

I enjoyed the tour of the capital building a little more than the White House. At least it has guides.

I recommend that you write your senator or congressman if you want to take the White House or Capital Building tours. They can arrange everything for you, which basically consist of running a background investigation on you and getting you a time slot to visit.

This trip also taught see something too. NEVER fly into Dulles airport; Fly into BWI!
