Arrived and took my first ride in a Muni bus! It's pretty easy actually... should have done so yesterday haha! But this line ran really long and it took me a while to get to my destination... My first stop was the Exploratrium at the Palace of Fine Arts. The building itself was pretty impressive... Seemed like some Greek/Roman structure and looked really cool for photo taking! The inside was ok... kinda like science center... but with some pretty cool stuff. It's good for kids' education and there were a lot of families inside indeed! I just took a quick look and got out cos I needed to make time for the other stuff remaining in my City Pass too!
Took another long bus ride to the Legion of Honour. It's a palace setting exhibiting European art. I took a while in this one too. Wanted to check it out real quick so I can make it for de Young. The City Pass kinda stipulated that I can only access both for free if i do so on the same day... But I didn't make it in the end cos it was almost 5pm by the time i was done. And de Young closes at 5pm =(
So I took a long bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf instead. I have just 1 more thing to do for the evening: Aquarium of the Bay. This one closes at 7pm. By the time I reached though, it's already about 630pm. Luckily it doesn't really take long to view the stuff inside...
After the Aquarium, I took the rest of the evening shopping in Hard Rock Cafe and Bubba Gump Shrimp... Had dinner at the Bubba too! Yum! Got back to my accommodation really late as I took the last train back but VERY satisfied...
