Main Cathedral in Guadalajara, Mexico
A week of sightseeing, re-learning Spanish, re-learning to walk without a limp, and the usual eating and drinking in both fine and not-so-fine restaurants. Guadalajara is a pretty colonial town with an extremely busy central area full of small shops. The most interesting and fun area was a small town south of the city by the name of Tlaquepaque with the best markets for pottery, weavings, and all sorts of handmade crafts. Thanks to Cathy of USC's CCR for suggesting it years ago.
