Last nite in Brasov - Karaoke at Deane's

Argh i can't believe i've actually left Brasov. My last day was soo hectic, getting photos printed, waiting for copies to take to kids at Codlea, saying goodbye to everyone at the Hospice, trying to fit all my stuff back into my rucksack, saying final goodbyes at Codlea then rushing back to the flat to fling some more stuff in bags, get changed and run down to Deane's about 2 hours late.

The fundraising team at Hospice gave me a really nice card saying how much they appreciate all my help and they gave me a present as well.

I was running about town like a headless chicken all day and i didn't get to Codlea till much later than i intended, but it was good bcoz all the children were back from school. I just sat about chatting to them at first while we looked at photos from Saturday's cinema trip. I gave all the children that came on the trip a copy of one of the photo's and wrote a little message on the back of it for them. The cook was delighted with her copy of photo of her with some of the children helping her in the kitchen and she gave me some apples to eat on the train. Then i walked about all the bedrooms to try and say bye to everyone - it was quite emotional but i managed to hold back the tears. Florinel & Gheorge walked me to the bus stop & i waved goodbye for the final time.

When i finally made it to Deane's with Mags & Bogdan everyone else was already there drinking away. All of the new group of volunteers came out except Georgina who's been ill & Elle who's away a trip with her boyfriend. Alina, her boyfriend Claudiu, Marian, Suflo, Beastie boy & Bogdan - some of the romanian friends i've met while staying in Brasov all came as well plus some of the Deane's waiters that had a nite off joined us as well. It was a fun nite and folk from our table were up singing a few times & dancing on their chairs!
