Laudona, Latvia - Andreijs Eglitis, the poet, lived here

He was a friend of my family, knew my father and mother, and was an endless source of nationalistic poetic energy for Latvia. His works keep the Latvian lanuage alive, and allow an insight into the 'old' Latvia that is disappearing too rapidly.
