This place was Great

Stayed at the Acropolis Hotel. Very basic.
The dude at the front desk (Serbian) was helpful, sarcastic, crusty and all around enjoyable to talk to.
We had the most expensive drinks we've ever had here. 6.50 Euros for a bloody beer.
We ate at Everest, a Greek fast food chain that makes great sandwiches.
We found the student district, which Matt liked because it has lots of music stores with electic tastes.
The live music club was disappointing. A band made up of giggly teenagers singing covers of 'alternative music'.
Uriah Heep is apparently very big in Thessaloniki.
On the 19th, I had the best experience I'll every have with a consulate. I got my student visa in half a day at the Turkish consulate, no haggling or stressing.
