Dresden to me was very big. There's a semi-big mall across from the main train station. With several small stores around the bottom. But the street behind the mall is really cool. It opens up into a large sq. with shops all around...took some good pictures. In this general area are several streets with shops and a McDonald's nearby. You could wander around this area for some time, lots to see. Old buildings,churches, several bars(etc).
