I sat at the hostel every day, just swinging in the hammocks and eating rice and beans. I was so sick that I couldn't manage to get out of there but they took good care of me at Via Via and I made a lot of friends. We all spent Christmas together and everyone pitched in a dish from their country. Of course, in my sick state, no one wanted anything from me so I did the dishes instead. We played charades after dinner and it was hilarious!!
