I have been stationed in Kunsan Korea for almost a year now. If you are stationed here be sure to call home often and try to have a life. Most other people I know that are stationed here just drink the time away. My advice is to take a bus up to Osan every couple of weekends and see the capitol. The people are different here. They have a very polite respect ladder for elders. The Korean people have no space bubble like Americans share. They will cut you off in line and not think about it. They are ok holding hands... and tend forget to let go after you shake theirs.
Another thing... we Americans don't seem to be on the same wavelink as them. What I mean is: You can walk down a street and not have a one of them look at you.
