This place was Amazing

We left Moscow to start to head back to the western world. We stopped in Yartsevo for the night at a hotel sitting by itself in the middle of nowhere. It can only be described as the bar from the movie from dusk til dawn.
Definitely an interesting night. The tour manager was told he had to pay for the show the hotel owner was about to put on. Different would be one way to describe it.
Since it was our last night in Russia we put together all our rubles (very hard to exchange Russian money outside of Russia) and bought a lot of bottles of vodka. I had a great night, certainly one of the best on tour.
On the way to the border the next day we went to Khatyn forest where Polish officers were secretly shot by the red army at the start of world war II. Certainly, a sobering experience.
All in all, an amazing time in Russia. Totally different to anything I've done before.
