I was impressed immediately from pulling up in the ferry from Brunei...the terminal is night and day in comparison. After leaving the modern terminal, I walk out onto a tree and flower lined street. Shophouses are nice-looking and even the small streets have a nature-like feel to them with smaller trees. The shopping here (Labuan's drawcard) doesn't appear to be impressive at all, but I love the environment here. It's even pretty!
