Jacob showing the wear and tear of the tour
End of the Road Tour. Finally we were back in Arusha and all that was left was to camp overnight, get up early the next morning to drive to the border with Kenya and to have the traditional last dinner together.
We drove in the area of Mount Kilimanjaro but couldn’t actually see much of it except the white glacier at its top. There is so much burning of trash and forestlands in East Africa that the air pollution is as bad as in Los Angeles which is both hard to believe and a shame. The smoke blocks the view of mountains and valleys but it remains the cheapest and quickest way to clear land and get rid of garbage.
