We have had some great adventures here. We took a day trip to a 350 foot waterfall and our driver was more creative than most. Met someone that was kind enough to invite us to his super posh hotel. They speak Arabic and French here, so our Spanish is really coming in handy. The Riad dar Mimouna is really wonderful. The French manager Fatia has been absolutely delightful and so accomodating. The streets and markets here are wild - you cross the street at your own risk and hope not to be run over by a taxi, moped, bicycle or donkey.

The riads are a different kind of place. The rooms surround a central courtyard and have maintained lots of traditional design and architecture. The closest thing we can think of is a bed and breakfast atmosphere. The food is made in-house and you meet most of the people staying at the riad.
