Ouagadougou is a pretty hassle free place for Africa. I found the officials at the airport very friendly and easy to laugh and joke with. I particularly like siiting out on one of the broad boulevards after a meal, buying some good Zouk music from one of the sellers (who don't seriously pressure you) and seeing lots of people going by on their bicycles. The countryside is so lovely and empty too, though there's a surprising lack of wildlife
