Day 17-18 Overland: Caprivi Strip and Chobe National Park
With over 180,000 elephants that live in Chobe National Park, one would think we would see at least one. Well, we were that unlucky. We kept wondering to ourselves how so many huge creatures could stay out of view so well. We didn't see any animals except a handful of baboons. The good news is, we will be heading for Tanzania for some, hopefully, amazing game viewing after this overland tour is over. At least the scenery here was beautiful. Chobe is green and littered with dead, gnarly looking trees (which the elephants killed by eating the bark), giving the park a very eerie, unique landscape
