This place was Amazing

After a loooooong drive to Kasane we went to Chobe National Park at the North East of Botswana. The 4 hour morning game drive was one of the hightlights of the trip. We saw lots of animals including 18 elephants having a mud bath about 15 metres away from our truck. We also saw a dead elephant being eaten by vultures and a maribou stork. The smell from the elephant was even more powerful that the one from my feet. Yes folks, after 16 days the stench from my (Jill has asked me to point out that her feet are fine) sandals is overwhelming. The vultures are following me around because they think something must be dead. This, together with having no clean clothes left is becoming a problem.
We also went on a sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River and saw elephants crossing the river - I don't know how the baby one didn't drown. We also saw crocs, hippos, buffalo and baboons.
At the campsite at night we taught some of the locals how to play golf-darts.
